Bean Day has been run with the hard work of it’s volunteers and generous donors and advertisers. In 2022 we are ramping up our fundraising initiatives as we recognize how important it is to sustain such a unique and long standing event. We host a variety of fundraisers during the Bean Day weekend such as Breakfast at the Firehouse and our Friday night Street Dance and Dinner. We accept donations through check or money order and are now welcoming donations through our PayPal account (see below). We have currently added Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities as well as individual event sponsorship packages. We are looking to add fundraising events throughout the year that will help us keep revered traditions and enhance our family oriented events for years to come.
With funding, we are able to provide free barbecue to the several hundred/thousand that visit us and hope to add other attractions. Additional funding will also give us the opportunity to upgrade our rodeo grounds and we hope to one day have a building which we can hold our dances and events throughout the year. This building will also be offered to the community for their own events. Our Veterans Memorial is important to our community and our country, and the funding will support regular maintenance. There is a lot of overhead involved in an event such as Bean Day, so any assistance we receive, we put right back in to the event. The Bean Day Association is made up of volunteers that work tirelessly year round to bring you this wonderful tradition!
