Bean Cleaning & Street Dance

Every year, Bean Day kicks off Friday evening at the Wagon Mound Firehouse. This is the time when volunteers get together for the traditional bean cleaning party to remove rocks and dirt from the 300 lbs. of dried pinto beans that will be served on Monday.  

Would you like to be part of this event?   All you need to do is show up at 6 p.m., bring a bowl to put the clean beans in, grab a seat and dig in!

Then, stick around because once all the beans have been cleaned, our Annual Fundraiser Dinner of dinner, dessert and a drink will begin followed by a live band  Friday Night Street Dance.
